Mommy Makeover Before & Afters

This 33 year old mother of 4 from Oklahoma was unhappy with the appearance of her abdomen due to child bearing and c-section scars. After reviewing the results of my abdominoplasty patients, she decided to visit with me in Southlake for a consultation. Due to the significant amount of skin excess and abdominal wall laxity, we decided that an extended abdominoplasty procedure was most appropriate to achieve the results she was seeking.

Her operation took just under 3 hours of surgical time, and proceeded very smoothly. Even though a significant amount of lax skin was removed (all of the skin from her belly button down to the c-section scar), it only weighed 3lbs. She had a notable laxity of the abdominal wall, and over 3 inches of her waist line was tightened during the muscle repair component. Since she was from Oklahoma, she spent one night recovering in the hospital, and then the next week around Southlake. Recovery has been smooth, and photos are shown 6 weeks after surgery. (They decided to visit the Great Wolf Lodge and make the post op visit a vacation trip for the kids!)
